Pros

-7 weeks of salary -Great training program -Great marketing materials and resources

Cons

-The office I worked at was extremely unethical. Manager went with me on an appointment and strong armed a client into filling out two apps, but assured them there would be no money collected, and then proceeded to turn in the apps the next day with HIS OWN MONEY. to get the policies through. Client had no clue. -Management also had me fill in appointments I never had on my schedule just to make sure I had 12 so that upper management wouldn't do an audit. This is just the tip of the ice burg. There are a lot of people who get promoted to management here that just aren't ethical. -Too much mandatory UNPAID time in the office doing busy work that won't make you money.

Pros

Local office was fantastic. The head of the local agency was a fantastic leader, one of the best I have had. The training program was very hands on. In terms of starting a financial practice with a firm, they have some of the best compensation, with a very strong base.

Cons

HR department is more like police on a different team than on your team. Always seemingly trying to make life harder for reps. Unlike anything I have ever dealt with.
