Pros

Unprofessional beyond anything I’ve ever seen, complete dysfunction from the top down, toxic and hostile environment amongst employees.

Cons

Toxic and hostile work environment proudly referred to as the “WestLake Way” by the owner, CEO and Sales dept. It’s like being in an abusive relationship with a narcissist, before long, you’re depressed and so stressed out you don’t know what hit you. Employees are trained and encouraged to work against each other within the same markets which results in a hostile work environment, lack of friendships, moral and teamwork. This results in a huge loss of business for the company in the end but they’d rather fudge their numbers than look in the mirror or take advice from how the “real” big leaders do it. HR is useless and doesn’t respond to emails. Who’s surprised they reply to bad reviews made public? Typical for abusers. Your typical training class will have 50 to 100 people and within a year, less than 3% remain. What does that tell you?

Pros

-Starting pay is pretty good.* -There are some good people who work here**

Cons

-Accounting Management in general. -Incredibly rude, Occasionally to the point of abusiveness. -Sometimes they don't understand the projects they assign to you. -Dishonesty in general. Especially regarding performance based benefits/promotions or benefits they may offer you to stay with the company. -Blatant disregard for US Accounting standards (G.A.A.P.) when finance team or upper management doesn't like the financials they are looking at. -Not many paid holidays or PTO-think bare minimum. -Their health care options are far from the best. In fact they actually got worse since I started working there. -*While starting pay is good it is difficult to get a better salary or promotion unless you are talented at kissing up to management or if management believes you will quit without a promotion/raise. -**While you might meet some nice people working there the company has incredibly high turnover so you may not be working with them for too long.
