Pros

Good benefits, extremely safe environment for a weld shop, usually decent overtime, better pay than most jobs around and weekends off

Cons

Management might as well be running from a different state, they were uninvolved when it comes to employees. The pay is lower than most companies that weld aluminum. Doesn't matter how good the quality of your work is as long as you can you can go fast and then brag about yourself to management you'll get paid better.

Pros

All the hours you want. Direct boss is pretty cool.

Cons

They give you all the hours you want. They start you out as cheap as possible. There is no real training for what you do. They barely give you the tools for the job, think the cheapest tools possible. They would rather replace you than keep you. They haven’t kept up with cost of living. When they give you the cost of living increase that everyone gets. They call is a raise. It’s not what you know and what you get done. It’s timed served at the company as far as raises. If they even give you one. Performance reviews and old and outdated and don't have anything with giving you more money. No real goals or outlook for the future in the company.
