Pros

Westport Properties/US Storage Centers has been one of my best decisions when it comes to careers. It is not just a job, but a home. A company that cares about your wellbeing. Helps their customers, vendors, and most of all the community. Your family becomes their family. I have never been so proud to work for a company that carries the values it does and backs it up with results. There is the ability to advance. The tools are there, mentoring is there, all to help you grow and succeed. The company goes above and beyond, not only with its employees but the community. Time with your family is important to them along with your health, keeping you educated, and helping you succeed. With extended programs, health, education programs, 401k, and bonus structures all your needs and wants are met. The company thrives on promoting within. They want to see you grow with the company and your opinion matters. Your hard work will not go unnoticed. Platforms for a voice if you like to be involved. This company cares. If you are looking for a career and not just a job, a company that is accountable, humble, and driven to commit to you and the community this is the place. If you like being a part of a continued look for bigger better ways to make a difference and create relationships, welcome home!

There is always a wish for higher pay :-)

Pros

It's great to work at a company that cares about its team members. Challenges come up daily and are resolved as a team working together in the best interest of the company and our customers. Hard work is rewarded, and the company is stable and growing (in business for 40 years). The company has established Core Values that are considered with every decision. The most charitable company I have ever worked for with thousands of dollars raised for charity every month.

Cons

Not for everyone, You must be driven performer that enjoys working through challenges with a team.

Pros

I cannot think of any pros. They are so fake. They try to promote good branding for the company and post 5 stars (probably from their HR or friends) but if you scroll down, you will see all the negative reviews and this is the reality. Sad to say, this is not a good company to work for.

Cons

Upper Management do not really know how to manage people. They fired someone and then speak negatively about them and gossip. The other reviews written below are true. This 3.5 rating is a wash to pretend that they are okay. Please read the Glassdoor reviews about this company. There is a reason why this is there. First of all, it is so rude not to answer a teams message. This is just so unprofessional. Second, they promise you one thing, and they do another. No integrity. This is a so so company. RUN do not accept their offer because they will stab you in the back. Also, higher management is not impressive. This is not the army. This is not based on tenure. There should be more professional and knowledgeable people. I am not impressed. Bad company to work for.
