Terminated despite following directions - Team Member Whataburger Employee Review

I had to attend a family funeral that took place right before I was taking time off for a tonsillectomy, so due to circumstances out of my control I was gone for roughly a month. I was not told directly about a 21-day policy they had where one would be automatically terminated, I found out through another coworker. I was put on a leave I never asked for and received little to no help to reverse it. I even came in while still recovering and unable to talk to try to satisfy the 21-day rule. No one was helpful, no one reached out, and no one seemed to care
