Pros

- The CEO definitely knows how to run his company. He's inviting, genuine, and truly cares about the employees. - Schedules are almost jokingly flexible. (Remote whenever necessary, PTO, sick days, etc.) - Casual dress code - Fun themed party days (Halloween, Pot lucks, Pajama Days, Christmas, etc.)

Cons

- Its unfortunate that the partner of this company is the one that might be sending people straight out the door. He's incredibly rude and doesn't take your work or your problems seriously. Every time I ever had an interaction with him, I always left the conversation feeling extremely under appreciated. - The teams lack much better management. Be prepared to be given work that is not even a part of your job description. - You will be overworked and underpaid. - Absolutely NO opportunities for growth

Whereoware Response

At Whereoware, rudeness or unprofessional behavior is not tolerated, ever. Bring it to my attention and I will deal with it. We have worked hard over the last 6-12 months to identify several career paths. We are a smaller company working within our bounds to provide opportunities for people to learn different skills, find what they truly like doing, and providing a clear path for growth. We are growing fast now so that in and of itself will open more opportunity. But promotion at Whereoware is merit based and that means that not everyone gets promoted. We are committed to paying market competitive compensation.
