Leadership doesn't lead by example, purposely not clear on expectations so they can use it against you later.
Dangle promotions in front of you and favor people who are not team players. Leadership was really making it feel like you would only be noticed if you were in office 5 days a week when a lot of us were contracted hybrid. Kinda felt toxic, especially when a good amount of leaders/teams are still fully remote too.
I wish I advocated for myself more, my manager always acted like they had my back but then when push came to shove....they really didn't. Just felt like the target was always moving but then they would just paint it as positive/challenges for growth opportunities.
Reflecting on my role, I do think I did WAY more than what was expected and what I was compensated for.
