Pros
Loved working with all of the people who are all programmed to be problem-solving machines (in a good way). But it all depends on the project you are on, some of my coworkers quit because of a bad office environment at their projects. Pension plan Stock options (private company) Gold-plated health insurance with NO premiums (premiums paid by company) Gas Card when you hit APM (never pay for gas again as it covers leisure travel as well) Car Payments when you hit Project Manager level
Cons
Long hours and weekend work too (typical construction) but my lead PM helped this out with half-days every other Friday and getting the Friday off after a weekend shift. Pay is good not great for the hours, we seem to be compensated with an amazing health insurance (no premiums to pay, no deductibles in-network, basically free ambulance rides and almost free child birthing? (I don't have a kid though). Really not that many cons other than long hours, I just want a normal 9-5
