Decent company to work for but could do better. - Marketer Wiley Employee Review

Pros

Helpful, friendly, engaged colleagues. Good salary and benefits. Half day summer Fridays.

Cons

Even for experienced employees, all companies have different systems and processes and Wily offers little to no onboarding/training to new people. Plus the systems are clunky and time-consuming. Project workflows take forever. The work is piled on and there is a lack of supporting roles so people work constantly and feel guilty and bad if they take a day off. There is little to no work/life balance if you try to get everything on your plate completed by deadline.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. We are glad to hear that you took advantage of our benefits program and that your colleagues were supportive during your time working for Wiley. As we continue to update and work on our onboarding process, we encourage our employees to take advantage of our free learning tools including LinkedIn Learning and Cross Knowledge. Due to the nature of our global company, many of our employees work in different time zones, making it challenging to limit after-hour emails and messages. We do value our employees' work/life balance and advise all remote workers to set their own hours to better suit their personal needs, communicating when it best fits their schedule while understanding response times will vary for their colleagues' best fit. As our department expands and hires more employees to make our company run faster, we hope you will consider working for Wiley again.
