Pros

It's a small shop (from the IT perspective) which makes it pretty nimble but also highly disorganized at times in terms of bigger projects. The firm is generally considered to be conservative and stable. As many have stated before me, people are kind and cooperative. I suppose your experience will vary based on your direct management - I've seen some miserable people in some departments with rotten management and I've seen some people that are absolutely content with their work experience along their rather visionary leadership (luckily I am with the latter). Generally speaking WB is very client focused which transcends to dedicated work. Last but not least, benefits are solid (I've had better) and compensation is competitive.

Cons

Some of the methodology and culture seems outdated. Just a silly example is the remote work which is generally frowned upon. They will much rather have people pretend to work or do bare minimum from the office rather than have people deliver remotely. Higher management seems very concerned with customer satisfaction and bottom line but they appear oblivious to actual growth and performance. Last but not least HR just plain sucks. Super nice people but super disjointed.

Pros

Great deal flow. Get to work on some interesting deals and you will learn a lot as a new analyst or graduate. Firm has some amazing senior bankers who are really good at what they do. There's room to develop if you really want to do it. But i can't speak for experienced roles / hires.

Cons

Office politics don't matter as much as an analyst but it's certainly there and you'll notice that. Work could be a lot sometimes (benched marked against investment banking standard) and middle mgmt. is pretty weak. And there's no incentives to fix that because it won't affect topline.
