-- Good hours for an Ibank
-- Strong culture and generally good people especially considering finance
-- Very few bad characters
-- Lot of opportunities to work with clients
-- Limited technical experience and more qualitiatve
-- Lot of opportunities for career
Cons
-- A few bad apples that if you get stuck working with, can make for a bad experience
-- A lot of luck of what deal teams you get on which can result in much better hours

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. You’ve highlighted two very important facets about William Blair: our culture and our people. Our vision is to be the premier global boutique. To achieve this, we strive to attract and retain the right people who are truly invested in one another, in our clients, and in the firm.
We regret to hear that you have not had a consistent positive experience working with the deal teams you’ve been placed with. We would strongly suggest providing feedback to your manager or to your HR Business Partner. By doing so, we may be able to address your specific concerns.
Great deal flow. Get to work on some interesting deals and you will learn a lot as a new analyst or graduate. Firm has some amazing senior bankers who are really good at what they do. There's room to develop if you really want to do it. But i can't speak for experienced roles / hires.
Cons
Office politics don't matter as much as an analyst but it's certainly there and you'll notice that. Work could be a lot sometimes (benched marked against investment banking standard) and middle mgmt. is pretty weak. And there's no incentives to fix that because it won't affect topline.
