Pros

Really great company to work for. The product is very interesting and has tons of technical depth. My coworkers were highly experieneced and intelligent people, which were a pleasure to collaberate and learn from. The company has the capability to cause a massive disruption in the aerospace industry, but whether or not they can pull it off is uncertain. Some benefits: - Yearly raises. - Cost of living adjustments every year - Paid overtime. (straight hourly) - Pretty linear career growth, although it can plateu. Someone in the same title as you makes the exact same amount as you which means the pay is pretty level among your colleagues. - Very technical interesting work. - Business is growing year over year, albiet they are still running somewhat lean. - Facility is nice. - Young workforce. (some might consider this a con) - Being near UWM sports complex gives access to frisbee and soccer during your lunch break. - Even with a high workload I never felt stressed about my work. Everything I needed to succeed was at my finger tips it was just a matter of me making it happen.

Cons

Williams biggest issue is the executive leadership and highly politicized work culture. Sadly there is likely little to change about this considering HRs complacency (woefull ignorance?) while everything goes on, they have a large disconnect from the workforce. It is run too much like a boys club/popularity contest. For the most part this issue is pretty out of sight unless you reach manager or project manager roles. Turnover causes: - Country club member burnout ( pretty standard at most companies). - Mandatory saturdays that were enforced from a knee jerk reaction an executive had that did nothing but shed most of the work force. Even though this occured 3+ years ago it rubbed people the wrong way and senior members still have a bitter taste in their mouth. - Poor flexibility and opportunity for remote work. - Pay raises taper or plateu as you near the more senior roles. Also very few management positions available although that does seem to be changing as the company continues to grow.
