Pros
The company is very cheap. Budgets stay the same for 10 or more years. Upper management is afraid salaried employees will not work enough hours each week. They are not happy if you do not work more than 40 hours each week. If you work 65 one week,don't even think about only putting in 38 the next, you better get in at least another 40.
Cons
Working at the corporate headquarters is like playing a game of chess. Politics Department heads do not know what they are doing. They must have dirt on someone in an executive office. They talk about work/life balance but are not willing to offer flexible work schedules. Upper management will hold back good employees because they value the job they are doing, rather than promoting.
