Favoritism is very common among certain regional leaders and they will lie to hold you back from promotion opportunities. Recommend AVP/VP level leadership to evaluate and personally review feedback given from the regional leadership (regardless of the regional’s tenure). If this is done, it would be confirmed that false information and feedback is communicated for associates seeking a promotion. There’s no HR department to report the favoritism and biased behaviors. It is unfortunate there is no one to report these issues to without risking your own job. There are many departments that are standard in companies comparable in size that do not exist within Lincoln.
