Pros

The Pros are the employees that stay, they are amazing & dedicated until they burn out & leave. Most of the real good people especially Upper Management have left so that alone is worth a thousand words. Great first job for those looking to become a recruiter & get their feet wet agency style but be ready to run a full desk with no support. Real RPOs have support behind their recruiters (sourcers, admins, etc.) Training is good & they definitely pull you in & get you hooked from the get go. Virtual is also a plus.

Cons

Smoke & Mirrors all the way. They don't care about the amazing employees that they have & as long as you hit your numbers you are a star (agency all about the numbers) but if you slip they will start building a case against you & make your work life miserable. There is "0" & I mean "0" work/life balance so don't believe it when they preach it. On top of your work load you have to do "extra" work in order to move into a different salary range which they make it almost impossible to even achieve. One Manager on the team didn't even have a chance to sleep one week because she couldn't handle the load & then was told she was a "disappointment". If you have a family emergency good luck they will hold that against you even death doesn't matter. They have no idea what a real RPO is whatsoever & won't ever be one. It is all about the bottom line & how much money they can bring in. They "over promise" to their clients & lie which is common. They ask their employees to all write "positive reviews" so that they can look good. They have great contests for employees to make the company better but don't listen so it is just to make the employees feel as if they are being "heard" & that change will happen which it never does sadly.

Thank you for your recent review of WilsonHCG based on your time here. There has certainly been a lot of change within our organisation, and some people have unfortunately left as a result. For us, change likewise brings with it a number of benefits. We are growing every day as a business, and we pride ourselves on being innovative and changing with the market. We believe the best way to grow is to seek the ideas and transparency from our employees, and to empower our workforce. Of note, we are continuously looking to develop our recruiters through formal, in-depth training programs to best equip them to overcome a variety of obstacles they may face each day. As our business and workforce continues to grow, we as a company are learning as well. In the last year alone, we have opened two new offices; these offices, opened based on the feedback we've received from clients, our workforce, the market and business imperatives, will provide our recruiters and clients with on-the-ground support, including best-fit ways in which we can grow our business and back office teams. We want our employees to feel empowered to manage their workloads, and to give them the balance and flexibility to manage their time. This is one reason among many that we have targets in place. We have also tied recruiter goals to their bonuses, ultimately giving our people more opportunity and rewards for meeting individual and team-oriented goals as well as for overachieving. We want all WilsonHCG employees to be rewarded fairly for the hard work they put in! This includes having aligned our salary reviews with how employees go above and beyond, and learn and develop new ideas. I want to thank you for your feedback and advice based on your personal experiences with our company, and I will personally ensure this is shared and discussed where suitable. - Lauren Bullock

Pros

Unlimited PTO is genuinely respected and easy to use. Full work-from-home flexibility

Cons

No salary increase whatsoever in 4 years despite consistent performance and loyalty. Bonuses have been significantly cut or eliminated. Company conducted layoffs just a few months ago and is now actively hiring again — creates instability and poor planning. Real compensation is decreasing every year due to rising health insurance premiums, taxes, and cost of living. After 4 years, it’s becoming very difficult to make ends meet. CEO was just replaced and it’s unclear where the company is heading, adding more uncertainty on top of the financial issues. Lack of recognition or financial reward for long-term employees makes staying here unsustainable.
