Pros

--Access to recruiting tools, and ongoing instruction with those tools --Virtual environment, minimal micromanaging, team emphasis, very little "busy work" --Client management leaders made every attempt to make appropriate matches between the recruiter and the client. I always recruited for a client that I could add value to based on my personal strengths and interests --Fun, culture-based activities were a great way to involve virtual employees --Pretty much the best RPO you could work for...really working to define and expand the definition of RPO --Accessible, grounded CEO

Cons

--Messy compensation structure. Changed at least 2-3 times during my time with the company. Salaries remained low with little consideration for employee's local market --Limited career path, even for a "top" recruiter like myself --Occasionally thrown into awkward or unnecessarily challenging client situations BUT was always supported by WilsonHCG leadership --Cliquey management, "usual suspects" were often identified for rewards and promotions

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your valuable feedback. We always appreciate hearing current and past employees’ thoughts, as they help us continue to improve. Regarding your concerns with our compensation structure, that is something we are currently evaluating due to continued growth. We agree that employees should be recognized for doing great work, and please rest assured that one of our biggest priorities is ensuring our people are happy and treated fairly. I am sorry to hear you felt your career path was limited at WilsonHCG. We recently implemented an internal career path initiative that focuses on individual development, and we’ve always encouraged our employees to come to us with career path ideas. As with any organization, challenging situations may arise, but our employees will have our organization’s support at all times. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you the best of luck in your new role. -Marisol Hughes, Sr. Director of People & Culture

Pros

Unlimited PTO is genuinely respected and easy to use. Full work-from-home flexibility

Cons

No salary increase whatsoever in 4 years despite consistent performance and loyalty. Bonuses have been significantly cut or eliminated. Company conducted layoffs just a few months ago and is now actively hiring again — creates instability and poor planning. Real compensation is decreasing every year due to rising health insurance premiums, taxes, and cost of living. After 4 years, it’s becoming very difficult to make ends meet. CEO was just replaced and it’s unclear where the company is heading, adding more uncertainty on top of the financial issues. Lack of recognition or financial reward for long-term employees makes staying here unsustainable.
