Pros
Remote work, flexibility, variety of clients/industries to support.
Cons
The unlimited PTO policy, which is subject to leadership's discretion and flagged after a certain threshold, is a concern because it lacks transparency and fairness. Many of us have been frustrated by the lack of clear and timely communication regarding change from senior leadership and corporate. We often find ourselves in the dark about important updates and decisions. Bonus payouts from Q4 were deferred and not paid out in the amount earned; they were coded as spot bonuses to avoid paying less than the recruitment bonus plan outlined. Promotions have been on hold for over a year, leading to no growth or advancement opportunities. Team leads have been performing ROM duties without the title/pay for over a year with no end for a true promotion. Minimal GIGs have been available internally, another lack of growth opportunities. The leadership development program has been on hold. A backlog of employees have already completed it, and there are no opportunities to promote. The constant fear of being laid off, but no one talks about it. Summer Fridays were not offered in 2023, and it doesn't seem like they'll be offered in 2024, either. Expectations between our team and the client are misaligned. We are held to high expectations, but there is absolutely zero accountability on the client side for the same expectations, making it extremely frustrating to have a productive partnership.
