Pros

This firm houses some of the best attorneys and professionals from whom anyone would want to learn. If you're fortunate enough to land a spot with one of the good teams, you'll be working with the best and being supported all the way through. Opportunities are there for those provided with the right mentoring.

Cons

Unfortunately, the experience will vary based on your team. If you're placed with a not-so-good group, it can be pretty rough. You'll probably still gain a lot of good experience if you're relatively new in your career, but you might find it hard to stick around, long-term. Compensation can seem low compared to other big firms, but it's partially a reflection of the industry primarily serviced by the firm.

Pros

Good coworkers and supervisors. Billable work environments tend to be the same in terms of monotony, so it helps to have a good team.

Cons

Billable hours aren't the most fun thing in the world. Huge caseload.

Pros

Great benefits, pay is okay. Partners are reasonable and nice.

Cons

Firm is misogynistic. They either drove someone to quit/fired really good talent and one of the only attorneys that was sweet to the staff after they took the side of male colleague in their interpersonal issue. Watched this person get bullied and firm did nothing. A lot of exclusive groups and mean girl behavior in chicago office it is really a shame
