      Good work life balance something that is not typical for attorneys. Autonomy on cases that involve insurance defense primarily.

      Cons

      Insurance defense firms work for the insurance companies and usually not directly for the client. Rather, the insurer foots the bill and there are usually numerous billing restrictions and limitations that can make doing your job frustrating.

      Good coworkers and supervisors. Billable work environments tend to be the same in terms of monotony, so it helps to have a good team.
