Pros
Great learning experience, got as much responsibility as I could handle. Communication with head partner was encouraged and quickly went from task associate to court hearings and depositions. Many partners were willing to mentor me.
Cons
Expectations are very high both for the work quality and time commitment. I received a lot of training but also had to learn a lot of new areas of the law.
