Pros
- Insurance: PPO, low monthly cost, low deductable. - ESOP: put in the time get great retirement. - Busy environment, no boredom here - No required overtime, more time with family - Pay increases based on hours: step system, every X amount of hours you get a litle raise until you max out. Part time is $15 and change and full time is $21! - Flexibility: your never really stuck in one department. Always room to grow!
Cons
- Can be stressful: culture has changed from Pro employee to Pro profits...can lead to underappreciated and over worked staff. - Rules are fine but they will use them against you if your not meetimg expectations. - it's retail: dont expect weekends or holidays off. Not a con for me but for many others it is. - Many people remain part time for a lot of years. Full time positions are hard to come by - Work load: often the burden can be very large and lead to extreme burn out.
