Pros
I like working for WinCo mainly for it being employee owned. It used to be easy to move up in the company with some restrictions, which is how I got to my current position. The benefits are outstanding, and they treat their WinCo veterans nicely with vacation, sick incentive days, and personal days.
Cons
The cons of working for WinCo is that it is getting easier to see that the system they are currently using is corrupt. Right now, it seems that it is easier to move up in the company with little, or no experience, leaving the people with decades of experience and hardwork/dedication are being left behind so they can keep "being good at where they are at". It is upsetting to see so many people being hired on as our bigwigs that are from our biggest competitors. I don't understand their logic with that. instead of hiring the people that have put their lives into the company to make it to the top, they spit on them and give the high up positions to the new guys.
