Pros
The people who worked there were great. No problems with management - generally responsive and respectful. They worked with me when I had periods that I was not available to work. NOT having to bag groceries for customers made it better than other cashiering positions. WinCo is a decent company with much better ethics than some competitors like Walmart.
Cons
The cons are the same as they are for any cashiering job -- rude customers, long hours on your feet, etc. Quit the job because of the pandemic - it was not worth risking my health. I was fortunate to be able to financially do this and fully realize all don't have this privilege. And this was no fault of the company -- just not the safest industry during a pandemic.
