Pros
The pay was okay. Started me decently above minimum wage though the pay was bi-weekly it wasn't too bad. They do allow direct deposit too.
Cons
Pribably the worst job I've ever had. I took no issue with the times i worked having to work graveyard wasn't all too bad but what i did take issue of is how unprofessional and demanding the management is. I was simply put in a room and given a few hours to complete a few online orientation videos and micro quizzes but other than that i recieved no training once i was on the floor. I was a freight stocker and i discovered right away WinCo values speed and cheaping out on labour more than they do quality work. I was given four and a half to five hours maximum to complete 8 hours worth of work all so they didnt have to give me a lunch break and therefore can keep labour costs down. On top of the ridiculous demand for an almost unattainable speed they also would specifically time how "fast" you were at stocking shelves and would shame those who weren't as fast by posting all the times in the break room. I feel like i was personally insulted more than once by the manager and all becasue i didn't "hustle" enough. I would not suggest anyone with any dignity work for this company they do not value customer service, they value quantity over quality and i absolutely hated my time there and anyone with customer service experience and works or wants to work in grocery should avoid it completely.
