Pros

The company has some great employees and very motivational management. You have the opportunity to "get your hands dirty" and gain experience in a variety of ways. Growth and advancement are very possible, but this can be difficult in some site offices (depending on who the management is.)

Cons

Site offices are VERY far removed from corporate culture. Middle management (i.e. property managers) is not very well regulated and left to their own whims. This can to lead to mismanagement, favoritism, and ultimately quick turnover with the loss of excellent talent. Your company experience, especially at site offices, is dependent on the property manager. Aggression and superiority are NOT good management tools... For the most part most are good, but t he bad ones can REALLY ruin your experience (not to mention spoil the residential experience.)

Pros

"One of the things I've appreciated most about Winn is the opportunity to grow professionally while making a real impact in affordable housing. Throughout my tenure, I've been trusted with increasingly complex portfolios, ownership transitions, takeovers, and leadership responsibilities, which has allowed me to continue developing

Cons

One challenge I've encountered at Winn is that advancement opportunities can sometimes be limited at the regional level because many leaders stay with the company for a long time. That's a testament to the company's stability and culture, but it can create fewer opportunities for upward mobility
