Pros

The position provides stability, good benefits and day to day experience is always different. Co-workers can pull together when needed.

Cons

Turnover in lower level positions is frequent. Over-all attitude amongst site staff is poor. Pay is not competitive. Working long hours to prepare for site inspections or audits can have very little reward. Major disconnect between upper management and site staff. A lot of pointing fingers amongst Management when something gets missed. Work load is so significant that it is common to work 60 hours a week on average and more when preparing for a major event or inspection.

Pros

"One of the things I've appreciated most about Winn is the opportunity to grow professionally while making a real impact in affordable housing. Throughout my tenure, I've been trusted with increasingly complex portfolios, ownership transitions, takeovers, and leadership responsibilities, which has allowed me to continue developing

Cons

One challenge I've encountered at Winn is that advancement opportunities can sometimes be limited at the regional level because many leaders stay with the company for a long time. That's a testament to the company's stability and culture, but it can create fewer opportunities for upward mobility
