Simple job, but highly toxic management and co-worker culture - GMA WinnCompanies Employee Review

Pros

The salary and benefits of this company are standard to the market rate.

Cons

Management has a knack for scheduling employees to work late hours/weekends if work gets behind. Lots of gossip about coworkers and managers throughout the day. Regular threatening remarks for minor maintenance issues.... When working here, you definitely have to "watch your back" as coworkers and managers are looking for minute things to critize you about. And god forbid you act for a raise or overtime if you need more money.

Pros

"One of the things I've appreciated most about Winn is the opportunity to grow professionally while making a real impact in affordable housing. Throughout my tenure, I've been trusted with increasingly complex portfolios, ownership transitions, takeovers, and leadership responsibilities, which has allowed me to continue developing

Cons

One challenge I've encountered at Winn is that advancement opportunities can sometimes be limited at the regional level because many leaders stay with the company for a long time. That's a testament to the company's stability and culture, but it can create fewer opportunities for upward mobility
