Pros

-Decent artificial snow for Mid-Atlantic -Good perks

Cons

As a former manager I can tell you that Wintergreen is not worth your time. Try Snowshoe or any other resort in the area just not wintergreen. -had to use scare tactics on employees to get them to work -No time to get out on the slopes as you will be working all the time. -Upper Management doesn't have a clue how to run a ski resort (Spent a large sum of money on a conference when money was supposedly for renovating the resort.) -No chance of advancement -If working in winter be prepared to get stuck on mountain because they don't know how to clear the roads properly. -Lastly there are no guests on weekends, if you want to instruct chances are snowshoe is your best bet. Wintergreen gets max of 100-200 locals on a weekend so no lessons are going on and the resort will literally nickel and dime every guest so they can meet their quota. In Wintergreen's defense Hank Theiss is a really great general manager but his employees in upper management are running Wintergreen into the ground.

Pros

Good training, great people, lots of fun, competitive pay for seasonal work with lots of incentives to cert up. When you're not working you can ski/board for free.

Cons

Really none, though if you don't live on the mountain it would be a hike of a commute for sometimes inconsistent hours.
