Pros

Wintergreen is a unique organization with so many types of jobs, from mechanic, snow maker, golf, tennis, maintenance, to accounting and housekeeping. All the positions are centered around creating a nice place for guests and members to visit and enjoy the area. The leadership really cares about the staff, and there are many people who have worked for the resort for 20+ years, combined with a lot of new staff. Starting pay has significantly increased in the past year.

Cons

Navigating around the mountain can be a little challenging, but it is well worth the view.

Pros

Good training, great people, lots of fun, competitive pay for seasonal work with lots of incentives to cert up. When you're not working you can ski/board for free.

Cons

Really none, though if you don't live on the mountain it would be a hike of a commute for sometimes inconsistent hours.
