Pros

Wipro have a very good proposition in the IT consulting space. The growth has been spectacular and is likely to continue for some time. As such the security of your role is not under the pressure it could otherwise be. The delivery expertise is overall of a very high quality and there is a clear commitment to get things done no matter what. Depending upon the significance of the deal there is a fair amount of lattitude in arriving at a sensible commercial offer to secure a deal.

Cons

As in many organisations there can be a fair degree of bureaucracy in decision making. Also don't expect to get farried around in business class and stay in the Four Seasons hotel - that isn't the way we work out here ! get used to easyjet and Hotel Ibis...

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
