Pros

Managers listen: no need to be afraid to raise issues; changes are made in response to staff feedback and team briefing feedback; salary was benchmarked and improved a couple of years ago; rewards for hard workers. Although a home-based worker I don't feel left out. Have just received two small bags of mini Easter eggs (sent by the office)! Lots of regular updates on business performance and the company's targets. This is an extremely busy role (h&s consultant) and you need to be cut out to work alone and work really hard, however it does not go unnoticed. The rest of the team is great. Most staff are down to earth and cooperative, and share info and advice.

Cons

As another poster has said, client base increasing quicker than increase in consultants and this is leading to extremely heavy workloads. However, a quick chat with your diary manager usually helps to resolve the issue.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are a busy company and the growth we are experiencing will mean this is set to continue. Linked to this we understand that our growth is only possible by retaining the brilliant talent we have already and adding to it in the future. As well as this we are investing in technical applications that will make the administration for the role more efficient while still ensuring we deliver a brilliant personal consultative service to our clients. Outside of the day to day role we also like to make sure no one is left out and will always make sure our remote and home working colleagues get their Easter Eggs :)

Pros

Career opportunities are good. Salaries are decent. There are some nice individuals within the business.

Cons

Awful, awful dictatorship style management from the top down. Massive labour turnover. An utterly ridiculously political environment. Some leaders in the business are more concerned with escalating their own image and financial worth within the business and they are happy to use you as cannon fodder. Lied to, on a number of occasions. Told there would be a secure job for us after restructures, only to find out some of our jobs had already been recruited for and then individuals previously told there would be a place for them at WN have then been made redundant. They literally couldn't care less about your wellbeing if they tried... They have just launched a wellbeing charter - which would be great. However on recent group meetings there has even been ridiculous things like a 'car park hierarchy' where the senior people in the business get to park closer to the door, and the minions have to park further down the car park. Awful, awful, awful, toxic and damaging environment.

Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback. We're so sorry to hear of your experiences and can assure you that a great deal of work has been carried out recently to set the foundation for a positive culture within WorkNest, including the articulation of our Values and holding people to account if they are not aligned to these. We are also progressing our leadership development and I can assure you that no such hierarchy exists today. Thank you for your contribution and we wish you well in your future plans.
