Pros

None to think of rn

Cons

They are a company owned by investors who place unrealistic targets on the sales team and dont focus on delivery. Most of Hr team are stressed. When they dont hit targets? They buy another company to fulfill their quota speaking to some staff on that side of things. The takeovers and integration are handled poorly and if there is an offer to sell the business. There will be mass redundancies at any point to optimize the profitability so I would warn against joining.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience has left you with these concerns. We recognise that working in a growing business can sometimes bring change, evolving priorities and ambitious goals, which can be challenging for colleagues across different teams. At WorkNest, we are committed to balancing commercial success with delivering high-quality service for our clients and creating a positive environment for our people. The wellbeing of our colleagues remains a priority, and we continuously seek feedback through a variety of channels to better understand employee experiences and identify areas where we can improve. As our business grows, any acquisitions and integration activities are carefully planned with the aim of supporting both our people and our clients. We appreciate that periods of change can create uncertainty, and we strive to communicate openly and transparently throughout such processes. We value all feedback, as it helps us reflect, learn and continue developing as an organisation. We wish you all the best for the future. Katie Muncaster, CPO

Pros

Career opportunities are good. Salaries are decent. There are some nice individuals within the business.

Cons

Awful, awful dictatorship style management from the top down. Massive labour turnover. An utterly ridiculously political environment. Some leaders in the business are more concerned with escalating their own image and financial worth within the business and they are happy to use you as cannon fodder. Lied to, on a number of occasions. Told there would be a secure job for us after restructures, only to find out some of our jobs had already been recruited for and then individuals previously told there would be a place for them at WN have then been made redundant. They literally couldn't care less about your wellbeing if they tried... They have just launched a wellbeing charter - which would be great. However on recent group meetings there has even been ridiculous things like a 'car park hierarchy' where the senior people in the business get to park closer to the door, and the minions have to park further down the car park. Awful, awful, awful, toxic and damaging environment.

Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback. We're so sorry to hear of your experiences and can assure you that a great deal of work has been carried out recently to set the foundation for a positive culture within WorkNest, including the articulation of our Values and holding people to account if they are not aligned to these. We are also progressing our leadership development and I can assure you that no such hierarchy exists today. Thank you for your contribution and we wish you well in your future plans.
