They have a checklist of things you need to be proficient in and you do them, but really you're doing next level work/responsibility at the same pay you've been at for a long time. It's almost like you're being dangled a carrot but the goal post is moving back each time. -Internal processes are slow and organizational changes happen so frequently much its hard to keep up with while the reasoning doesn't always make sense -You'll be moved into a different role, team or manager without any prior discussion
