Pros
There are a lot of really smart people here, and everyone is very approachable. Definitely No Jerks! Company puts a lot of money into perks for employees. Free food at least twice a week, 10-12 movie screenings at Megaplex every year. Legacy code isn't too bad to work in unlike most places I've worked (not saying I like it though). Benefits are awesome (unlimited PTO, Health is cheap and are given money every year to put in an HSA account).
Cons
Executives are really focused on getting to a point of being acquired or IPO. So much that new features in the app are more important than performance and stability. Even though middle management says performance is priority number 1. Being acquired/IPO is a good thing if you have Stock Options. But only Executives and Directors get Stock Options. Even middle management doesn't get stock. Legacy code is not cleaned up. New frameworks or technology is constantly added to fix the problem, when the problem is that the current ones are fully implemented and/or stable enough to migrate to something new. Also, strategy is constantly changing. I think this is due to the pressure management is getting from our investors.
