Interesting work; amazing access to global leaders in business, government and civil society; insights into how thoughtleaders think; great colleagues - smart and fun crowd; middle management is very good - works mostly as shield against constant barrage of re-orgs from top

Cons

Unpredictable, erratic and constant changes in direction, processes and organization from senior leadership; low trust in leadership from staff; "transformation exhaustion"; overly matriced org leads and constant re-orgs lead to a lot of politics; feels like leadership has not figured out the place of the Forum in the 21st century yet and is pivoting every single year in a new direction

Great exposure to ideas, good broad experience that can be applied to other jobs

Cons

Lots of infighting at the top, leaks down to lower levels. The Forum makes poor hiring decisions and teams suffer.
