Pros

* Great opportunity to learn the insurance industry and build technical knowledge. * Exposure to multiple carriers, underwriting guidelines, claims, endorsements, and customer service. * Built strong relationships with many clients and coworkers. * Fast-paced environment that helped develop multitasking and problem-solving skills. * Valuable experience that has benefited my career.

Cons

* Heavy workloads and high stress with limited support. * In my experience, management lacked consistency in communication and leadership. * I felt employee concerns were not addressed effectively. * Some leadership appointments appeared to be made before individuals had enough experience or training to succeed in those roles, which led to inconsistent direction and frustration within the team. * I experienced low morale and felt expectations were not applied consistently across employees.

Pros

Benefits are good with matching 401K contribution. New CEO recognizes the value of happy employees as a starting point. It's refreshing. He also is working on proprietary AI tools vs off the shelf not to replace employees. His goal is to increase productivity with the support of AI tools so we can spend time on client needs. Strong emphasis on culture and value of the employees.

Cons

Workload can be overwhelming as they acquire new companies. There has been some turnover and it's difficult for any company to find experienced Account Managers.

Pros

Good benefits, pay is okay Immediate managers are pretty great and easy to deal with

Cons

The workload is awful. It has made me rethink my life choices. I go home absolutely miserable on a daily basis and tell my kid to make sure he completes college and does what he loves so he doesn’t end up with a job like this. The company acquires agencies faster than they can higher, and the workload gets dumped on the servicers. Truly an awful workload, anytime it’s brought up to management nothing gets done
