Burnout Culture, Poor Leadership Support, and No Work/Life Balance - Client Advisor World Insurance Associates Employee Review

Pros

Not many. Some genuinely kind people at the local level

Cons

Work/life balance is non-existent. Long hours and heavy workloads are the norm. Many employees are working 10–14 hours a day, six days a week, with little support or relief. Burnout is widespread—even among management. Managers are clearly overworked and stretched thin, yet expected to keep up with constant corporate demands. It's not uncommon to see capable, well-meaning leaders struggle to keep up. If you’re considering selling your agency to World, think twice. If you’ve just joined through an acquisition, keep your options open.

Pros

Benefits are good with matching 401K contribution. New CEO recognizes the value of happy employees as a starting point. It's refreshing. He also is working on proprietary AI tools vs off the shelf not to replace employees. His goal is to increase productivity with the support of AI tools so we can spend time on client needs. Strong emphasis on culture and value of the employees.

Cons

Workload can be overwhelming as they acquire new companies. There has been some turnover and it's difficult for any company to find experienced Account Managers.

Pros

Good benefits, pay is okay Immediate managers are pretty great and easy to deal with

Cons

The workload is awful. It has made me rethink my life choices. I go home absolutely miserable on a daily basis and tell my kid to make sure he completes college and does what he loves so he doesn’t end up with a job like this. The company acquires agencies faster than they can higher, and the workload gets dumped on the servicers. Truly an awful workload, anytime it’s brought up to management nothing gets done
