Pros

World Wide Technology is a great place to work in the short time I have been employed I've moved up the ladder very quickly. There are tons of opportunity for growth, education, and experience in the technology field.

Cons

The temporary workers are the most annoying part of the job. It gets old and annoying listen to them all wine and cry about wanting to be hired full time. World Wide is not hiring you because you are temporary workers that my chair is smarter than. All you temps that wear yoga pants, sweatpants, and t-shirts that looks very unprofessional. Most of you can not talk or write at a third grade level. Just do us all a favor and stop asking if you are getting employed IT IS ANNOYING.

World Wide Technology Response

Our temporary workers (subcontractors) are very important to the overall operations in our warehouses. They help us support our customers during unexpectedly busy times. Often these individuals are able to become full-time WWT employees. I’m proud that WWT has such a great working environment that people want badly to become a part of it. No one is perfect and maybe you could politely provide some advice or coaching to these individuals. Thanks.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
