There is a complete disconnect between the solid, Midwestern core values followed in the St Louis corporate headquarters (and the mature regions of WWT) and the newer NYC region. Middle management in the NYC Region does not follow the core values at all. Sure, it’s important to make money, that’s why companies exist – but WWT is a company that prided itself on its core values (Trust, Humility, Enthusiasm, Passion, Attitude, Team work and Honesty). I found the NYC region’s middle management lacking in just about every one of these values. They are, to put simply, an untrustworthy group who are about as dishonest and trustworthy as Gordon Gecko in the movie Wall Street.
