Pros

Extreme flexibility, openness and employee focus. LaCroix in the refrigerator. Infinite variations on coffee are available.

Cons

Large amounts of chaos in the dev teams, management is not effective and very loose, deadlines are missed constantly. Agile can be great or misused as the excuse to not work. The culture is over the top politically correct monoculture. HR is overbearing and oppressive.

Thanks for the feedback! Several of the pros you named are areas that we've strived to keep in our culture since the beginning, so it's good to see that you appreciate them. Glad you appreciate the options for libation as well! We take your concerns seriously, but without specific instances it's hard to know exactly how to respond, and since you're no longer with us we'll have to continue to focus on improvement as best we can. However, here's our take on why you might be observing these things and possibly getting the wrong impression: Our open culture and team-empowered structure enables the autonomy to experiment with how we solve problems. This kind of experimentation encourages higher employee engagement and better outcomes for our clients. Our leaders understand how to provide enabling guidance for teams, without dictating how a team solves technical challenges. Deadlines are important to us, and our clients appreciate that our incremental delivery strategies that focus on working software and customer priority ensure that, regardless of what we may discover and what hurdles we must overcome, they will always gain real value for their investment throughout the entire project. On your last comment in the "cons" section, we'll note that we are proud that our people are inclusive, and have a profound commitment to supporting diversity, equality and respect in the workplace, which continues to make us a great place to work year after year as voted by our workforce.

Pros

My manager was very supportive she would give great feedback and try to help me grow . The people were awesome. My coworkers were great and supportive.

Cons

For all the projects we had regional managers there was one that had it out for me. This person was relentless and I went to my manager. The problem I had with this person was they never stop coming after me and my manager tried to stop this person in their tracks, but they tried a way to come after me. My manager’s manager was kind of not a good manager because he was all about the numbers and he didn’t care about the person. He never once had a one-to-one conversation with me I noticed that he played favorites with people and it’s just not good to do that. I believe that as a senior manager, you have to get to know your team instead of hearing what other people say. There was a senior project manager out there who essentially threw me under the bus. When people would resign, all of the projects that were left behind by the previous person they would dump it on one person. It is a lot of work to dump on a person. Some managers would help you grow and there are others that will do the work behind your back on a project. There was one who would start adjusting my project numbers and get mad at me. Mind you this was my first year and this manager would throw me under the bus. “Great Workplace?” Please
