Pros

Medical Benefits, and onsite med team, work parties the googles and amazons wish they were cool enough to do, coaching over yelling is not optional. Departments are always doing something goofy and fun. Work hours are 99% of the time consistent and what you expect. the co workers are usually the best part of the job. I never worked at a place where I met more genuine Co workers. You have the few bad ones but they are only there because of the few bad managers who choose friendship over the needs of the team, that is very few and far between though. Majority of the warehouse management will talk to you like your family and dont act like bosses. Always asking how they can help you. Other then how crazy hot it can get i loved the people I was surrounded by. Upper management just ruined it for me is all. They are out of touch with their staff now days due to growth. Some of them its clear it doesnt matter, others are just so busy keeping up with growth they dont fully see the other side anymore and its understandable to an extent. If that doesnt bother you though you will be incredibly happy there.

Cons

Office workers treated well regardless of what they do. Logistics warehouse workers always end up responsible for carrying out poorly planned decisions from said office. The company is loosing its core values from the top spiraling downwards because of its growth decisions regardless of impact on its employees. I see more and more long term employees leaving because new budgeting and executive goals dont align with the idea of proper raises or moving up in position. Long term Employees seem to make about as much as the new ones some how. The words lateral move are thrown at hard working employees to add responsibility, expectations, and work load without actually paying them more for any of it. WWT leadership is loosing its rigor and discipline around truly making sure their employees are taken care of because right now company growth goals are #1, reputation is #2. Its the same story as so many other companies that grow too big to maintain what it was founded on and it sucked leaving a place I used to cherish as much as my own home.

Pros

My manager was very supportive she would give great feedback and try to help me grow . The people were awesome. My coworkers were great and supportive.

Cons

For all the projects we had regional managers there was one that had it out for me. This person was relentless and I went to my manager. The problem I had with this person was they never stop coming after me and my manager tried to stop this person in their tracks, but they tried a way to come after me. My manager’s manager was kind of not a good manager because he was all about the numbers and he didn’t care about the person. He never once had a one-to-one conversation with me I noticed that he played favorites with people and it’s just not good to do that. I believe that as a senior manager, you have to get to know your team instead of hearing what other people say. There was a senior project manager out there who essentially threw me under the bus. When people would resign, all of the projects that were left behind by the previous person they would dump it on one person. It is a lot of work to dump on a person. Some managers would help you grow and there are others that will do the work behind your back on a project. There was one who would start adjusting my project numbers and get mad at me. Mind you this was my first year and this manager would throw me under the bus. “Great Workplace?” Please
