Pros
Fully remote, the pay is decent, and a lot of the junior members of the team are amazing. If that's enough to keep you afloat, you'll be fine.
Cons
AI slop is a plague and upper management could NOT be more excited about it. Meanwhile, basic day-to-day process is in such poor shape that we (internal creative leadership) are sometimes reviewing work - for the first time - alongside our clients. Goalposts are constantly shifting and gaslighting (or straight-up passive-aggression) is the reward for those brave enough to look for real, lasting solutions to recurring problems. And so - even those who try eventually give up.
It feels like anyone in a position to effect real change has already drunk the kool-aid - it's breathtakingly selfish. And "at least we can point to [insert pointless Gotcha! timeline element here] if [insert team] ghosts us again!" is sort of the way things get "solved."
