Pros
Exposure to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Cons
Management’s leadership style encouraged hyper-competition, micromanagement, and favoritism. Surveillance of employees’ online status, public criticism, and suppression of dissent were routine. Feedback was often harsh and unconstructive, and there was a pattern of taking credit for others’ work. Despite delivering significant value, I was let go once my contributions were fully leveraged. The broader company culture reflects a rigid hierarchy where performance often seems to be measured more by compliance than impact. The workplace expects conformity and those who don’t fit the mold may feel excluded or undervalued. While the company claims to support scientific and medical innovation, I rarely heard any mention of patients, only profit. The focus appeared to be more on wealth extraction from biopharmaceutical companies rather than improving meaningful healthcare outcomes.
