Pros

This place is for you if you love anxiety and gossip.

Cons

WGH is the most dangerous production facility I have ever worked at. Unsafe walking and working conditions are reported, but nothing is resolved. Upper management only made changes once someone got seriously hurt or almost died. I saw too many close calls where someone almost died due to negligence. I genuinely feared for my life working there. Not only were there terrible working conditions, but HSE misreported incidents when it was convenient for them and "investigations" aren't actually performed. It was exhausting to come forward about these issues and no actions were taken. The entire shop floor revolves around equipment failure. The maintenance team is overextended and can't keep up with production. It's impossible to create preventative maintenance schedules when the team is backed up with reactive/temporary solutions. Safety and production contribute to the toxic work environment and work culture. It's completely tolerated and encouraged by management to scream at each other for anything. HR does not help in these situations either. I've seen HR scream at the top of their lungs to someone. This is the most toxic work environment I have ever been apart of. There is so much office gossip and deception - on top of the safety issues.
