Pros
Twitter is currently facing many challenges, so there is a lot of opportunity to have an impact if you have the drive and spirit for a turnaround situation. That can be extremely rewarding for people who thrive in ambiguity. The culture is extremely collaborative. Many people are very mission oriented and open, so there is a strong collaborative culture.
Cons
The other side of the coin regarding the Pros I mentioned is that ambiguity (which can be opportunity) also means there is not enough consistency in sticking to the vision and strategy. The rapid turnover of leadership in the past 2 years (all but 2 of Exec Staff including the CEO) had led to a fair amount of organizational distraction that takes time away from doing great work.
