Pros

Decent starting pay for the position. Small yearly bonus based on company performance. 3 weeks PTO from the start. Company is strong and job is likely secure compared to other LTL opportunities.

Cons

Health benefits are non existent. Top tier still makes you pay for simple things like blood tests, xrays, etc...Local management at the Ann Arbor Linehaul office are "rule with the iron fist" type. What they say goes. Do not truly care about your opinion...if they even ask it at all. Yearly raises only average 3% per year, falling far behind even basic cost of living increases. Overall, you'll simply end up feeling like a cog in the machine making 0 impact. If you're wanting a job like that where you just do what you are told and don't care about making change or anything, this is perfect for you! But there is a reason more than half of the current Coordinator staff have worked there 3 years or less where as a decade before that they only hired a handful of people...clearly there is something happening in the last 3 years and management does not care enough to find out what. Just hire more expendable people.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
