Pros
I would have said the pay is good if they didn't make us work long hours. The pay almost does not worth the amount of time we spend there.
Cons
Good people in upper management leave because they can't hold bad ones accountable. The only good person in upper management that was very knowledgable and always helpful left last year. She was the only female in upper management that was always listening and following up with all of our questions. Although, she was young with an accent, her leadership skills were better than all of the upper management who are bunch of white dudes. She was with IT team, but she was the only one always helped with all of our questions and was fair with explaining matrix and goals. Of course, I wasn't surprised to hear that she was gone. They can't keep good people in this place. They took her office away and give it to a white dude who worked night shift and put her in a closet. An actual space that was meant to be a closet, they put desk there and told her it was her new office. She wasn't the same after that and was gone a few months later. If you are female and applying for leadership position in this location, you should just stay away. They do not treat women FOS and FOM well in this place. Also, there are 24 hours in a day and we have 3 shifts. But supervisors work 10-12 hours on each shift. They keep supervisor to do unnecessary report and paperwork after each shift for no good reason. They really need to change the way they are treating supervisors in XKC location. There is no need for a FOS to work over 9 hours in this location. Some goals are so unrealistic and they set you to fail from the beginning. You can't say anything to dockworkers because HR doesn't back you up. This place wanted to be part of the Union. So, HR treats DW good and blame everything on FOSs.
