Poor treatment of long term employees and bizarre attendance policy - Prefer Not to State Xanterra Employee Review

Long term employees with excellent reviews often make the same wage as employees who just walked in the door with zero experience. There is no reward for seniority any longer in terms of housing. Horrible employee dining food with increasingly limited options. Human Resources that treats every employee as though they are a liability and not an asset, and that lacks the professionalism to treat employee concerns with any respect. A bizarre attendance policy that does not allow supervisors to have any discretion. Employees who have emergencies or serious medical concerns are threatened with their jobs forcing excellent employees out of work. A trip to the ER, surgery, a heart attack, or stroke should not be punished with threats of job loss, but this does happen. Upper management is not available to answer questions, and schedules meetings for other mangers at the busiest hours of the day, leaving frontline employees overworked and guests underserved. Depending on the department, you’ll be expected to do the work of 3 in 40 hours or preferably less, or you’ll have very little time off.
