Your job is not secured as there are no new projects in the company. No payband anybody can get anything while joining. Do not expect anything from management they won't help u. Technical managers are just worthless they never drive the projects. Projects depends completely on the junior folks. Designation promotions totally depends on ur buttering. Lastly Muslim culture will makes u feel that ur job is in danger as they will get good in every arena whether it is appraisal, promotions, projects or onsite oppurtunities.
