Pros
My experience at Xcalar so far has prepared and challenged me to carry out tasks in all areas of my expertise because I have had the opportunity to work on a range of challenging and unique projects. Xcalar is a challenging and fast paced environment, where everyone focuses on productivity, success and teamwork because we are all working towards the same goal and vision. Although there is a lot of work and long hours, it has been extremely rewarding because I believe it has brought out the best in my work, skills and abilities.
Cons
I believe some of the areas that could improve here at Xcalar are creating a stronger management team in helping guide current and new employees. Xcalar needs a stronger understanding of all our departments and how they contribute to our success. Xcalar needs to move away from it's current culture to adapt to a more productive and constructive environment where employees feel comfortable and happy to continue to produce strong and innovative work.
